Robson Trudgill is a British-American filmmaker, photographer, writer and editor currently based in Brooklyn, NY.

Robson began his life in the U.K before spending most of life in the mountains outside of Boulder, Colorado where he fell in love with the wilderness and creating moving and still images.

Robson graduated from Emerson College in May 2021 with a B.F.A in Media Arts Production and a concentration in Directing and Cinematography. His thesis film Controlled Burns was filmed in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, utilizing a small cast and crew, and filmed in the gorgeous Colorado landscapes he grew up exploring.

Robson moved to NYC after graduating to pursue work as a freelance filmmaker, he has spent most of his time working as a production assistant on various commercial/music video projects and has served as an 1st/2nd assistant camera and an assistant editor on commercials for various brands such as Mastercard, Tito’s Vodka, and Sennheiser. He is currently writing multiple short films and developing projects with close collaborators.
